In Code Vein II, Bequeathed Formae Battle Axes are among the most powerful tools in your arsenal because they function as active abilities rather than physical gear.

They allow you to summon spectral weaponry for high-impact strikes without increasing your Burden (weight), meaning you can retain a "Quick" dodge while dealing the damage of a heavy greathammer.

Unlike standard weapons that use Tender Crimson Stones, Bequeathed Formae are upgraded through Proficiency and Heart Remnants.

There are currently two primary variations of these axes, both tied to the Idris lineage and the "Chronos Protocol" storyline. What makes them so powerful is the fact that if you equip a Jail with high Ichor-gain (like the Ivy Prototype), you can generate enough Ichor to keep the Idris's Conceit slow-field active almost indefinitely. This trivializes many of the "Mask of Gula" elite encounters in the Sunken City.
